Geo-tagged tweets for Bangkok mapped with the Clima.me tool

Above is Bangkok on New Years eve, around midnight local time.  Notice the very high concentration of tweets around a few locations, with massive tweeting in a central location

No see the same map but for a more ordinary day.  Though tweets still group in the centre, there is much more distribution of tweets through the area.

So rule of tweet distributions: High concentration of tweets in a single location indicates an event.
